What Is Elder Law?

• Our Elder Law practice encompasses all aspects of planning, counseling, educating, and advocating for client aging, illness, incapacity and death.
• We believe life's problems are at least as complex and important as death problems, particularly the problems of incapacity and the cost of quality care.
• Elder Law Attorneys assist clients and their families in dealing effectively with non-legal problems as well as problems found in the law books.
• We practice Elder Law because we enjoy dealing with elders and their families and take a personal interest in each situation.
• We routinely confer with other members of the elder support team including care managers, accountants, physicians and financial planners.
• We add other experts to the client support team when there are client problems beyond our expertise, such as:
  • Nursing home suits
  • Complex tax matters
